           ``False`` if the repository is not compliant.

       **license: str**
           The license the repository uses.

   :Returns:

       :ref:`bool <python:bltin-boolean-values>`
           ``True`` if LICENSE and CONTRIBUTORS.md files had the correct content.
           ``False`` if LICENSE and CONTRIBUTORS.md files had the incorrect content.
